By car: take the motorway (autostrada) A11 (Firenze-Pisa) or A12 (Genova-Livorno) and exit Lucca, proceed towards the provincial road SP Ludovica or the state road SS 12 del Brennero and follow indications for Barga or Castelnuovo di Garfagnana, having reached Loc. Ponte di Campia, turn right and cross the bridge. Continue in the direction of Castelvecchio Pascoli, after a few kms you’ll reach Loc. Ponte di Catagnana, on your left you’ll find the sign for Catagnana and the 'Il Casale degli Ulivi'.

By train: take the Lucca-Aulla line, until the stations of Fornaci di Barga or Barga-Gallicano, each 3,5 km from Barga.

By air: Pisa airport (about 70 km) or Florence (about 100 km).
